Lotus Exclusive Launched, Adding Personalisation to the Fleet

The premium car segment has changed, especially for those niche carmakers who rely on buyers who are willing to spend more on personalisation. Of course, the few car companies that rely on this market are mostly British. Think Jaguar, Land Rover, TVR, Bentley, and Aston Martin, and you immediately picture a shopping experience that goes beyond picking an exterior paint colour and trim level.

While most of these companies have separate entities that handle extremely customised vehicles that are still covered by a warranty (think Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicles Operations), some have taken their time to adopt to this approach.

Lotus is one such company who has ‘seen the light’ so to speak. They’ve just launched their own custom service under the label ‘Lotus Exclusive’. According to CEO Jean-Marc Gales, the company has worked on requests quite often in the past, leading to a handful of very talented craftsmen who can deliver a tailor-made experience.

To make it a bit more straight-forward for customers to submit and receive individual requests, Lotus Cars has seen fit to launch this sub-brand.

Lotus-3

The services are available through Lotus dealerships, and there’s an extended range of exclusive colours, decals, leather interiors and interior stitching options. It even extends to existing owners, who might want to spice up the Lotus cars they already own.
