0Genesis EQ900L Launched in South Korea – Larger Than You Think
Genesis, now a standalone brand in some markets, has released a stretched version of its flagship EQ900 (known as G90 in the US), but only in South Korea. The EQ900L, carries much of its design over from the original sedan but adds some length to the B-pillars and rear doors, effectively giving it the appearance of a limousine.
The added legroom should give you the impression that there’s plenty more in the car itself for the rear passengers to play around with. And you’d be right. There’s a rear-seat entertainment system, a huge centre console that divides the two rear seats.
Each of these back seats even has power-adjustable footrests and are fully wrapped in premium leather. The interior sports wood trim and piano black accents, but we’re sure a range of different options will be made available.
The EQ900L will receive the 5-litre V8 ‘Tau’ engine which puts out 425 hp and 519Nm of torque. USD125,000 isn’t cheap, but for a car of its class and quality it’s certainly a bargain.
