Isuzu D-Max Wins at Inaugural Carsifu Editor’s Choice Awards
The limited edition Isuzu D-Max BEAST triumphed in the ‘Best Dressed-up Pick-up Truck’ category at the inaugural Carsifu Editor’s Choice Awards organised by Star Media Group.
Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd Executive Director Hajime Machimura received the award from Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Lee Chee Leong in the presence of Star Media Group Chairman Datuk Fu Ah Kiow, chief operating officer Calvin Kan and chief revenue officer Lim Bee Leng at a glittering gala dinner last night.
Launched in May this year, the limited edition Isuzu D-Max BEAST is based on a theme of street rugged with bold accents in dark grey or black that contrasted with its base colours of either Magnum White Solid or Titan Silver Metallic, giving the vehicle its strong and macho character.
The wheel arches are accentuated by matte black surrounds, highlighting the exclusively-designed 17-inch matte black alloy rims while an exclusive body decal clearly identifies this vehicle as the true beast. It also comes fully equipped with a Claw Bar with a lockable lid, a stylish aero spoiler and a bed liner.
Inside, the seats are cloaked in premium Italian leather with the BEAST logo stitched into the seas and finished in a pleasing two-tone shade. The carpet mats too have their exclusive stitching while the stainless steel kick panels are illuminated with LED Isuzu logos when doors are opened. The interior trim is replaced with a darker shade of grey, providing the vehicle with a more premium feel.
In keeping with its aggressive outlook, the vehicle’s audio system has been upgraded and now features a Kenwood multimedia player with a 6.2-inch touch screen complete with a reverse camera. A powerful Bongiovi digital power amplifier provides the added punch so you hear all the details from your favourite tracks perfectly through the six-speaker surround sound system.
