Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) activated its public service programme SAFE STEPS Road Safety recently at the Petrosains Science Festival held from 16 to 18 September. The interactive simulation game immersed visitors in realistic virtual reality role play where participants experienced potential safety hazards, and were tested on their knowledge on road safety rules.

In Malaysia, an average of 6,000 to 7,000 traffic related deaths are recorded annually, much higher compared to other countries. SAFE STEPS Road Safety seeks to raise awareness on road safety by providing clear and simple life-saving information through the dissemination of educational messages on road safety.
