The Pilot Watch Series from DELTAt SoRa
Paying tribute to the classic aviator watches, the DELTAt SoRa incorporates all essential features of a genuine pilot watch such as large dial for readability, massive crown for easy adjustment while wearing gloves, precision movement featuring hacking seconds function for accurate setting and long straps to wear on flight jackets’ sleeves.
Crafted in solid 316L Stainless Steel, SoRa’s case measures 44mm diameter. With a large, 38mm diameter dial, time reading on SoRa is very easy. SoRa’s large crown, with cross-diagonal pattern (SoRa) or pumpkin styled (SoRa 1918 & SoRa WWII), measuring 10mm in diameter and 5mm in height makes it easily accessible even with gloves on.
SoRa uses the Automatic Movement cal. NH37 from Seiko. SoRa can be wound manually or automatically by its rotor. It also features the hacking seconds function, which allows you to set time precisely up to the second.
SoRa comes with 3 set of extra-long straps including the double-sided Crazy Horse leather straps and the Nylon strap. The tool free-strap-changing system enables the wearer to change the straps easily.
For front glass SoRa uses scratch resistant, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. SoRa has a water resistance of up to 200 meter / 660 feet. SoRa’s screw-in bottom cover is made of 316L Stainless Steel. A bi -plane and a serial number is engraved on the bottom cover to make sure that every watch is a unique piece for the wearer.
The DELTAt SoRa Pilot watch collection is available in several model variations. Primarily the watch collection can be divided into three versions according to its dial design: SoRa, SoRa 1918 and SoRa WWII.
DELTAt SoRa: DELTAt SoRa features a three layer dial construction offering basic timekeeping with 3 central hands, 24 hours indication with a sub dial at 10’o clock and date indication using window at 3’o clock. Movement is Seiko Cal. NH37.
These models come in 316L stainless steel case (SoRa 1939, SoRa 1939 S, SoRa Drone, SoRa Drone S, SoRa Eagle, SoRa Eagle S, SoRa Stealth and SoRa Stealth S) or PVD Rose Gold Plated 316L Stainless Steel case (SoRa 1939 G & SoRa 1939 G2). The DELTAt SoRa is equipped with a cross-diagonal pattern crown.
DELTAt SoRa 1918: The SoRa 1918 version has different design and function. Its classic dial design boasts luminescent Arabic numeral hour markers and a 24 hours sub-dial. Crown has a distinctive pumpkin shaped design. The movement is Seiko Cal. NH37. Case material is 316 stainless steel or PVD Antique Copper Plated 316L Stainless Steel depends upon the model.
Models available are SoRa 1918 B, SoRa 1918 BS, SoRa 1918 W, SoRa 1918 WS, SoRa 1918 M, SoRa 1918 MS & SoRa 1918 M2C (Limited to 100 pieces; PVD Antique Copper Plated 316L Stainless Steel).
DELTAt SoRa WWII version features a classic pilot watch dial design without 24 hour indication or date window. Another stand out feature of this version is pumpkin styled crown.
Case material and movement are same as SoRa & SoRa 1918 versions. Models available are: SoRa Type A, SoRa Type AS, SoRa Type B and SoRa Type BS.
Each DELTAt SoRa Pilot watch is delivered in a sturdy and durable Pelican-style waterproof box.The package includes a SoRa Pilot Watch, One set of extra long fine genuine crazy horse leather straps with removable base, One set of extra long fine genuine crazy horse leather straps, One set of military style nylon strap, an attachable compass (to the nylon straps), a pilot (military) ID tag and a warranty description card. Although it comes with a unique box loaded with extra, the DELTAt SoRa watches are sold for only $450USD.
