Above the law?
Here is a typical case of how some Malaysian car owners can get away with their own little ‘world of wants’. WE spotted this lovely Range Rover at the Jalan Duta toll plaza heading into the city on New Years Eve at about 11.35pm. There was a big traffic police operation with TV crew present and the police were stopping express busses, motorcyclists and cars with various violations.
This lovely luxury 4×4 with ‘fancy’ number plates in front of us was waved on by the police whilst we saw many Proton, Perodua and other basic car owners being stopped for various issues.
