BHPetrol now provides plug-in hybrid charging at their stations
Have you considered a plug-in hybrid for your next car? Pure electric vehicles nowadays can have a range of over 100 kilometers on a single charge. This is more than enough for most journeys, as the average car journey in most Malaysian cities is around 30 kilometers round trip. If you regularly travel further, maybe a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) would be right for you.
BUT, there is a worry about where to charge. Most shopping malls have car chargers, but they make little sense when you have to pay for parking and spend time walking around the mall.
NOW there is better solution. BHPetrol has started installing fast chargers at their petrol stations. The first station to get a charger and allow for PHEV charging is at BHPetrol Kampung Sungai Kaya Ara and soon at more BHPetrol stations nation wide.
PHEVs combine both an electric motor with an internal combustion engine giving you the best of both worlds and now you can charge your PHEV while having a tasty pie and a cup of coffee at BHPetrol.
