Mercedes-Benz Introduces The Smartphone Cover Collection
The Smartphone Cover Collection from Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH and partner CG Mobile of Paris is made up of over 20 high-quality variants. Their unique look and feel reflects the brand’s sensually-pure design philosophy and mirror the refined materials used in the interior of Mercedes-Benz saloons and sports cars. New additions to the Collection include two portable battery chargers and required USB cables.
Anyone who travels a lot with a smartphone or tablet will be familiar with the low-battery status message. The two new portable battery chargers from Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH and partner CG Mobile allow chargeability miles from the nearest socket.
These high-quality power chargers with built-in lithium polymer rechargeable battery are available in two sizes and power capacity levels (5000 and 10,000 milliamperes-hour (mAh)).
Shared features include the rapid USB port and four LED charge indicators. A USB charging cable is included. The raised metallic Mercedes star on the front of the black chargers rounds off the high-quality design. Another new addition to the range is a 2-in-1 cable for charging and syncing iPhone®, iPad® and iPod® models.
The compact cable features lightning and micro USB connectors.
The new smartphone covers feature refined materials such as leather, aluminium and carbon fibre. They are a perfect complement to the current Mercedes-Benz saloons and sports cars.
An overview of the four product lines:
- Line 1: Inspired by the dynamic contours of the S-Class body, these hard case covers combine sportiness and luxury. The aluminium cover is available trimmed with leather, carbon fibre or wood and with a painted finish.
- Line 2: The products that make up the second line reference the luxurious interior of a Mercedes-Benz. They are produced in leather and, like the vehicle seats, feature a perforated design.
- Line 3: These leather covered hard case and book-type models are based on the organic contours of the wood trim in the interior of the C-Class.
- Line 4: High-performance super sports cars were the inspiration for the fourth product line, which comprises hard case models in aluminium/black carbon fibre.
Book-type and hard case smartphone covers are available for a range of different smartphone models, including the latest versions of the Apple iPhone® 7.
