AROC is more than just a car club
Henry Ford once said, ‘Every time I see an Alfa Romeo pass by, I lift my hat’. Today the saying still runs but without the tipping of the hat for many of us who do not drive but admire the lines of any Alfa Romeo.
Alfa Romeo owners, new and classic cars, are a special breed of car owners, why, well they look to their cars as part of their family. Its forgiving, its giving and sometimes it is a pain in the ‘behind’. Yes, the Alfa Romeo ownership is tireless and owners rarely give up on their cars or switch brands.
They might have a simple boring 2nd car in their garage for the days when their Alfa Romeo has a ‘cold’ and they might spend some money keeping their ‘mistress’ running happy, but after all the Alfa Romeo ownership is one that cannot be forgotten and with plenty of stories to share with the rest.
The Malaysian chapter of AROC met last weekend for the annual get together and it was a big eventful gathering despite the constant downpour.
