Land Rover Experience Tour 2017 – Malaysian Round

Jaguar Land Rover has recently launched a regional competition where participants stand a chance to win a Land Rover Experience Tour to South America.

The Malaysian qualification event was held from 8 to 10 September at the Waterfront, Desa Park City in Kuala Lumpur and Land Rover Malaysia was kind enough to invite us to complete some of the challenges that actual participants have to go through.

Winners from this event would qualify for the regional finals event that will be held this month in Laos. Regional champions will then fly to Peru for an unforgettable adventure for six days from 4 until 9 October 2017.

Participants have to complete a series of challenges such as making a three-point turn in a tight space and driving in an L-shaped path without hitting the cones. Participants would then test the vehicle’s off-road technology such as Hill Descent Control (HDC) on the course, which features man-made terrains such as cross structure, wading pool, side slop and bumpy trail.
