Allianz provides a 50% reduced rate for FLOOD coverage

The year-end monsoon season that brings heavy rain is causing flash flood in certain areas of Malaysia. Flood not only brings significant damages to buildings and vehicles, but it also has depressing impacts on people.

Delivering its promise to be the most reliable partner in their customer’s hour of need, since July 2017, customers who purchased Allianz General’s motor insurance now benefited from the 50% reduced rate on special perils which include natural disasters such as flood, typhoon, hurricane, landslide and other convulsions of nature.

With this new reduced rate, Allianz General offers the lowest special perils rate in the market with as low as 0.25%. Applicable for private car only, motor insurance policyholders can enjoy this benefit with the purchase of special perils extension.

As extreme weather is becoming more frequent due to climate change, coverage on natural disasters is no longer an option, it is now a necessity!
