Porsche Macan SportDesign Series Launched in Malaysia at RM545,000
Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) ends the year 2017 on a high with the launch of the limited edition Porsche Macan SportDesign Series, highly recognisable by its sporty appearance and a myriad of standard features.
The new model is available in two exterior colours – Volcano Grey Metallic and Carrara White Metallic – with matching red and black leather interior.
In addition, there’s a more dynamic front apron, painted side skirts and rear apron as well as subtle red and silver accents. Black LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), tinted rear lights, roof rails and exhaust tips in gloss black as well as 21-inch wheels (available in two designs) complete the Macan’s look.
The cabin is equipped with 14-way power seats including memory function for both the driver and front passenger as well as Bose Surround Sound System with 14 loudspeakers. Other standard equipment includes air suspension with self-leveling and ride height adjustment, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Sport Chrono Package.
Powering the Macan SportDesign Series is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder mill with 252 hp and 370 Nm. The output is transferred to the ground via a seven-speed PDK gearbox and all-wheel drive system.
SDAP’s newest offering is priced at RM545,000 which it says represents a substantial saving compared to a similarly equipped Macan. Limited to 40 units, it comes with a four-year warranty and free maintenance package.
