Do small cars have to be ‘cheap’? Do inexpensive cars have to feel ‘cheap’? Well, with we finally got that answer with this latest Picanto. Yes, it’s small and inexpensive, but, WOW were we surprised. 6 airbags, stability control, the refinement of a 4-cylinder dual VVT engine, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, a 7” touchscreen, and a lovely 5 year, unlimited mileage warranty to top it all off.
And behind the wheel, Kia have done really well too, despite what on paper looks like old tech. If it’s simple but works, why complicate things?
