Vehicle Of The Year 2018 –Perodua MYVI
There have been many impressive cars launched over the last 12 months, but nothing has been quite as important as the new Myvi. Perodua have done an excellent job reimagining the Myvi for the modern consumer. And with Dual VVT-i engines, it’s also more efficient without sacrificing its robust mechanical simplicity. We also recognise Perodua’s efforts in making this mass-market car safer than ever with ESC, 6 airbags and a very impressive Advanced Safety Assist suite. They could have easily sold a lot of Myvis without these safety features but chose to give Malaysians an opportunity to own rare, relatively advanced automotive technology at a reasonable cost.
No, the Myvi still isn’t a dream car, but for many Malaysians, the Myvi all-round ability at such a reasonable price makes reality a lot easier.
