New Castrol MAGNATEC Engine Oil with DUALOCK Technology Launched
Recognising the changes of city traffic conditions today, BP Castrol Lubricants (Malaysia) have launched the latest generation of Castrol MAGNATEC engine oil featuring DUALOCK Technology.
There are four variants of this new engine oil, all sold in 4-litre bottles.
- Castrol MAGNATEC STOP-START (0W-20) Fully Synthetic Oil for Petrol & Hybrid vehicles (RM201.90)
- Castrol MAGNATEC STOP-START (5W-30) Fully Synthetic Oil for Petrol, Diesel and Hybrid vehicles (RM187.80)
- Castrol MAGNATEC (10W-30) Part Synthetic Oil for Petrol and Diesel vehicles (RM143.40)
- Castrol MAGNATEC (10W-40) PART Synthetic Oil for Petrol vehicles (RM138.70)
The new generation of Castrol MAGNATEC with DUALOCK Technology is the latest pioneering innovation from Castrol. Two different protective molecules tightly lock together and cling to the engine surface, forming a powerful protective layer that delivers a 50% reduction of warm-up and stop-start engine wear. This new generation of Castrol MAGNATEC was designed specifically with traffic congestion in mind.
In conjunction with the new lubricant, Castrol Malaysia also kicked-off its ‘Unsung Hero’ campaign to pay tribute to the everyday heroes of Malaysia. A series of initiatives and programmes are slated to take place as part of this campaign over the coming months.
The DUALOCK Technology is available in the full range of Castrol MAGNATEC products across various viscometrics, addressing the evolving needs of the Malaysian passenger car market and will available at Castrol Auto Service outlets, car workshops and retailers throughout Malaysia. It is suitable for use in petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles.
