BMW X2 ‘M’ Gets 306bhp

BMW’s compact SUV gets a dose of healthy adrenalin with this ‘M’ version. The engine however gets installed transversely and instead of a lovely 6-cylinder power plant, which incidentally will not fit in the compact engine bay of the X2, this M35i gets a 4-cylinder with forced induction. It produces 306hp and the torque is 450Nm.

This makes it the strongest 4-cylinder in the BMW lineup. It works with an 8-speed automatic from Aisin, distributing the power to all four wheels and when needed will accelerate from 0-100kn/h in 4.9 seconds.
