John Cooper Works GP Car in showrooms by 2020

Mini has just confirmed that the ‘John Cooper Works GP concept’ car they showed at the last Frankfurt Motor Show will become a reality. It will be a track-focused version of its current JCW model that came with a wild aero kit, a stripped-out interior and an integrated roll cage (as shown in these pictures).

This JCW GP is headed for production and is scheduled to arrive in showrooms globally by 2020. Power output figures and engineering details have yet to be released.
