‘Little while only’ or ‘Just a while la’ will not work anymore

The Petaling Jaya City Council officers are getting very strict especially in high traffic areas like Section 14 and this is good as drivers try to avoid paying for parking in the many nearby multi-level car parks. The excuse is always, ‘just a few minutes la’ and ‘very quick one ah’ but it is mostly never the case of being quick and the errant parking is done to cause more traffic congestion for road users driving around the area.

We are now seeing very quick and strict enforcement where if the council officer finds a car parked illegally, the enforcement officers will immediately issue either a summons, clamp or tow the vehicle away.

However, there are some drivers who park without blocking traffic but it is still an offence. (pictured below)
