Water Contamination at Petrol Station in Serdang. Here is the Statement from PETRONAS
Earlier today, an incident at a Petronas station in Serdan (Solaris Besraya) left 20 customers stranded with cars stalling minutes after refuelling.
Petronas Dagangan Berhad quickly investigated and found that there had been water contamination at that particular station.
A statement by Petronas Dagangan reads as follows:
“We take this matter seriously and sincerely apologise to all our customers for the incovenience caused. We are already in contact with the affected customers, taking the necessary measures and will compensate them accordingly.
Our initial assessment indicates that this is due to product mishandling that happened only at this particular station. PETRONAS Station Solaris Besraya is now temporarily closed as we continue our investigations.”
They went on to note that this was an isolated incident.
