SDAP Opens First Porsche Pop-Up Store in Malaysia

Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) has opened the doors to its first pop-up store located at the Gurney Paragon shopping mall at Jalan Kelawai, Penang.

With a total space of more than 1,603 sq ft, the new pop-up store aims to offer unparalleled level of customer experience, such as savouring extraordinary Porsche-related reading materials while sipping gourmet coffee.

Test drives can also be arranged from the comfort and convenience of the pop-up store, through a prior appointment with Porsche Centre Penang. In addition to that, the latest range of Porsche Driver’s Selection apparel and accessories are also available there.

“As part of our commitment to a priceless and unique ownership experience for our owners in the Northern region, the new pop-up store offers a drop-off service for customers by appointment for vehicle service maintenance. We understand how busy life can be, which is why we want to make it as convenient as possible. Customers can opt to leave their vehicle at the drop-off area of the new pop-up store while we handle the transporting and servicing at Porsche Centre Penang,” said Christopher Hunter, Chief Executive Officer of SDAP.

Apart from the official apparel and accessories, the recently-launched 718 Cayman SportDesign Series is also showcased at the pop-up store. It stands out from the standard 718 model line thanks to the SportDesign package, which is complemented by subtle carbon fibre trims and 20-inch wheels.

The 718 Cayman SportDesign Series is priced at RM625,000 and exclusively limited to only 15 units. As with all vehicles sold by SDAP, it comes with a four-year warranty and free maintenance package for peace-of-mind ownership. The stated price includes all applicable duties, except registration fee, road tax and insurance. Specifications and prices are subject to change without prior notice.
