MINI Malaysia Adds Options for CKD Countryman Models
MINI Malaysia today announced a new ‘Wired Package’ for the Cooper S E Countryman All4 and a ‘Pure’ trim line for the Cooper S Countryman.
Both cars have been locally assembled for a year now. Initially, the Cooper S E Countryman (the plug in hybrid MINI) was available for RM250,888. With the Wired Package, this price goes up to RM268,888.
Back in 2018, the Cooper S Countryman Sports was first made available for RM245,888. Since September 2018, the car has been priced at RM240,888. The new ‘Pure’ trim line knocks RM12,000 off the price tag but takes a few things with it too. You can still get the Sports version though.

So for RM18,000 MORE, here’s what the new Cooper S E Countryman All4 Wired Package adds:
- new 19-inch Edged Spoke rims with run flat tyres
- 8.8″ infotainment display
- Heads up display
- 12 speaker Harmon Kardon audio system

And for about RM12,000 LESS, here’s what this version of the Countryman takes away:
- JCW pedals -> plastic pedals
- 19″ JCW Course Spoke rims -> 18″ Black Pin rims

- Anthracite headliner -> Beige headliner
- Heads up display -> no heads up display

in merely 6.8 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 198km/h while consuming only 2.1 litres per 100km of fuel.
The exterior colour offerings for the MINI Countryman Plug-In Hybrid Wired include Chilli Red, Light White, British Racing Green and Melting Silver; all paired with a Black roof. The Island Blue exterior colour is paired with a White roof.
