8,000 plus accidents and 8 fatalities already

Malaysians, please be careful on the road this week as you drive long distance (Balik Kampung) and also for those staying back in Klang Valley. The Police Department has already recorded more than 8,000 road accidents and we already have 8 fatalities which is quite alarming.

Think about your family and the other road users and stay safe on your drive.

Make sure your rear passengers are using their seatbelts. It is already provided in your car when you bought it, so use them.

Make sure your tire pressure is right. It is free to pump air in your tyres at any petrol station.

Make sure you stop at the designated ‘FREE COFFEE’ Rest and Relax areas along the highway and get yourself a ‘wake up’ drink. (the FREE KOPI “O” locations are listed below)

Please drink enough water and keep yourself hydrated as you will be driving for hours in traffic.

Drive safe and arrive at your destination safely.
