Proton stays cool in the Sepang heat this weekend
The Proton race team will be competing in Round 3 of the Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) this weekend (12-14 July 2019). They are working hard in the workshop to make sure all our cars are ready for the two 1 hour races this weekend. (13th July – Race 1 – 1415hrs & 14th July – Race 2 – 1010hrs).
So far it has been a challenging day today with official practice delayed and a very hot qualifying session. The team did a good job to qualify 1st Mitchell Cheah (Suprima S), 3rd Fariqe Hairuman/Syafiq Ali (Iriz) and 5th James Veerapan (Saga).
Qualified in 2nd is Leona Chin in the Tedco Racing Suzuki Swift, with 4th place taken by CY Ong in the Dreamchaser Satria Neo.
