Why can’t other Malaysians enjoy this Bank Rakyat offer?
Proton together with Bank Rakyat (last time I checked, we were all rakyat) is offering a very interesting offer just for Malaysian government employees and new graduates (what about older graduates). The offer includes a 100% loan on a new Proton and a lower yearly interest rate from just 2.85%.
This promotional sales flyer (pls see below) shows only the current Proton models on offer (Saga, Iriz, Exora and Persona) and not the hot selling Proton X70 (which is a rebadged Geely SUV)
Bank Rakyat should be fair in offering this car loan offer to all Malaysians to enjoy as the revised Iriz and Persona have been thoroughly revised for the 2019 model year and have revised styling, improvements to over 300 parts as well as first-in-class smart features that set them apart from their competitors.
By equipping the 2019 Proton Iriz and Persona with an intelligent infotainment system, PROTON has introduced first- in-class features set to revolutionise the market segment. Available on the Premium 1.6 CVT variants of both cars, the system uses an embedded eSIM card to stay connected to the Internet. It also offers apps for music streaming, online navigation and voice recognition accessed via a 7-inch touchscreen featuring a full colour display and 16GB of internal memory. For added convenience, the system offers a mirroring function with Android smart phones.
As with PROTON’s first SUV, the Proton X70, the voice recognition app is activated via the catchphrase Hi Proton! after which, the user is able to access a range of options using voice commands. This allows drivers to keep their eyes on the road even while performing complex searches for destinations or songs, helping to ensure they are not distracted while driving. The system will also receive Over The Air (OTA) updates periodically with new apps added as and when they become available.
Following the convention set by the 2019 Persona and 2019 Iriz, the 2019 Exora uses Intelligence That Moves to signify not only its intelligent features but also the class leading performance and space it offers for up to seven adult occupants. The 2019 Exora is equipped with an intelligent infotainment system, allowing PROTON to introduce first-in-class features for its market segment. Available on the 1.6T Premium variant, an embedded eSIM card ensures mobile Internet connectivity for a rich multimedia experience. Apps for music streaming, online navigation and weather updates are offered and can be accessed via a 7-inch touchscreen featuring a full colour display.
For added convenience, the system offers smartphone connectivity as well as a mirror function for Android devices. As is standard for all Proton models featuring its current intelligent infotainment system, a voice recognition app is offered and can be accessed using the familiar Hi Proton! catchphrase. The app is the gateway to a range of functions using voice commands, allowing drivers to keep their eyes on the road even while performing complex requests like searching for destinations or songs.
To ensure the software remains up to date, Over the Air (OTA) updates will be offered periodically with the possibility of new apps being added when they become available.
