Yamaha Bikes Now Come with Extended Warranty
Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM), the official distributor of Yamaha motorcycles in Malaysia, has introduced a new Extended Warranty programme for its customers.
Applicable to all Yamaha motorcycles registered from 1st July 2019 onwards, the new programme offers coverage of up to two years or 20,000 km.
According to HLYM, the extended warranty is only valid if the motorcycle is serviced as per recommended schedule at an authorized Yamaha dealer, using only genuine Yamaha spare parts and Yamalube lubricants, and in standard condition.
Customers who would like to submit a claim will have to attach the service records along with tax invoices or receipts.
“With this new feature, HLYM looks forward to increase consumer confidence, as well as Yamaha’s competitiveness within the Malaysian automotive industry which would help bring a positive push to the industry as a whole,” said Dato’ Jim Khor, Managing Director of HLYM.
To further enhance customer satisfaction, HLYM has also imposed a pre-delivery checklist that will be undertaken by authorized dealers to ensure all motorcycles are delivered in perfect condition.
