All-New Lexus ES Launched in Malaysia for RM299,888
Lexus Malaysia has launched the all-new, 7th generation ES in the country months after opening the order books. It is available immediately with a price of RM299,888 for the ES 250 Premium and RM332,888 for the ES 250 Luxury.
What is the ES?
Think of the ES as a mid-sized luxury sedan that’s focused on comfort, high-quality materials and luxury. It’s larger than an IS, and smaller than the LS. Unlike those Lexus sedans, it is a front-wheel-drive vehicle, which makes it easier to package and roomier on the inside.
The Lexus ES is available in Malaysia in two variants:
- ES 250 Premium
- ES 250 Luxury
Both come with a 2.5 litre VVT-iE engine with an 8-speed conventional automatic transmission with Artificial Intelligence.
The motor is good for 204hp and 247Nm of torque. A new chassis with more high tensile steel and MacPherson Struts up front and double wishbones at the rear form the core of the new ES.
Tonnes of standard equipment make this new Lexus ES a great value luxury sedan considering it is fully imported from Japan. Here’s a taste of what you can expect:
