At last years (2019) Singapore Motor Show, we saw it for the first time in person and was impressed with its lines and sheer attractiveness. At the show, VW Singapore team informed us of its popularity in Singapore which has the highest car prices in the world.

In May 2019 there were strong rumors circulating that the VW Arteon will be launched in Malaysia and there was a possibility of local assembly to get the selling price attractive enough to ‘pull’ buyers away from the established premium brands. The ‘whispered’ price was RM220,000 to RM240,000 which makes it rather attractive to many Malaysians.
