Winning in America is a testament to its engineering
The Mini Cooper SE electric was launched in August 26th and in just one month all 26 units were taken up. At a selling price of RM218,381 (with the sales tax discount provided) this latest Mini comes with 8 years or 100,000 HV Battery Warranty for Malaysian customers from the manufacturer.
Great news just in, American publication ‘Green Car Journal’ has just awarded this 2020 MINI Cooper SE its Urban Green Car of the Year Award for 2021. The announcement was made at the virtual Greenbuild International Conference + Expo. Green Car Journal is the leading authority on the intersection of automobiles, energy, and the environment.
This Mini EV can get a quick 30-minute charge using a DC quick charger where the drive will get about 80 per cent of battery capacity, and when fully charged, the MINI Cooper SE will return a range of 234km-270km (depending on which standards are used to measure range). Charging with a MINI Wallbox Plus from 0 power to 80 percent takes about 2.5 hours.
