Mazda 6 Updated For 2021 In Malaysia
The D-segment sedan category is fast diminishing, but the Mazda 6 will not be neglected.
One of the more exciting D-segment sedans in Malaysia, the Mazda 6, has been updated by Bermaz for the 2021 model year. The 2021 Mazda 6 now gets Wireless Apple CarPlay as standard on all variants.
What’s more, the base model Mazda 6 2.0L now comes with Advanced Keyless Entry and Walkaway door lock. It also gets paddle shifters as standard equipment.
To increase the appeal of the upper-tier Mazda 6 2.5L model, it now comes with 19” Black Metallic Alloy Rims as well as Gloss Black Wing Mirrors for the exterior. Inside, this variant now comes with Burgundy Red leather seats as well as Burgundy Red contrast stitching on the upholstery.
No Touring variants of the Mazda 6 will be on sale for the 2021 model year. Here’s pricing for as long as the 50% SST discount applies for this CBU Japan sedan from Mazda.

The last update for the Mazda 6 in Malaysia came in 2019. At the time, it introduced the following:

Command your journey in the elegantly refined 2021 Mazda6. The Apple CarPlay™ on the 2021 Mazda6 has now been updated to Wireless Apple CarPlay™ for all variants
The 2021 Mazda6 2.0L SKYACTIV-G Sedan variant now comes equipped with Advanced Keyless Entry and Walkaway door lock features as well as Paddle shifters.
The Mazda6 2.5L Sedan variant adds unique styling to encourage fans to go against the grain. The 2.5L variant now features 19” Black Metallic Alloy Rims and Gloss Black Outer Door Mirrors for a sportier and more distinctive look. The interior now has Burgundy Red coloured leather seats. In addition, the dash and door trims have Burgundy Red coloured stitching to help bring the colour scheme together.
The Mazda6 is currently CBU from Japan and is available in two engine choices; SKYACTIV-G 2.0L & 2.5L. Both variants are paired with the SKYACTIV-DRIVE 6-Speed Automatic transmission with Manual Shift mode, G-Vectoring Control Plus and front-wheel drive.
The colour line-up includes Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Snowflake White Pearl, Sonic Silver, Deep Crystal Blue, Jet Black and one newly added colours which is the Polymetal Gray; making a total of 7 colours available.
Selling price for the vehicle starts from RM 170,917.00, which is inclusive of the 50% Sales Tax Reduction (SST) on CBU models and is valid from now to 30th June 2021.
The model comes with a 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty + 5-Years Free Maintenance according to manufacturer’s standards inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants. Both Manufacturer Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.
