Porsche 911 Turbo S Launched In Malaysia

Sime Darby Auto Performance introduces the 911 Turbo S in Malaysia from RM2,235,463.

The latest Porsche 911 Turbo S model has been launched in Malaysia through Sime Darby Auto Performance for RM2,235,463 (with SST discount). The Turbo S is the range-topping variant of the 911. This 8th generation 911 was launched in Malaysia in mid-2019.

It’s powered by a 6-cylinder boxer engine displacing 3745cc with 2 variable turbine geometry turbochargers. The engine produces 650PS and 800Nm of torque. With a specially tuned version of the 8-speed PDK gearbox, 0-100km/h takes just 2.7 seconds. That’s 0.2 seconds faster than the 7th generation 911 Turbo S was. Top speed is 330km/h.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S has Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA), which allows the car to optimise fuel efficiency at lower speeds and improve dynamics at higher speeds. PAA includes the control of air flaps at the front and rear for more downforce. There’s also a variable front spoiler lip and an extending and tilting rear wing. These three elements change depending on drive mode. When full braking force is applied at high speed, a new airbrake function moves these elements to maximise drag and downforce. This reduces braking distance and improves stability during braking.

This is the first 911 Turbo S to feature mixed tyre sizes. The front has 255/35 R20 tyres while the rear features 315/30 R21. Standard equipment in the Porsche 911 Turbo S includes a full leather interior, carbon trim, Light Silver accents, 18-way adjustable sports seats, 10.9″ PCM display, GT sports steering wheel, Bose Surround Sound system, Sport Chrono with integration to the new Porsche Track Precision app. The 911 Turbo S also comes with Porsche Active Suspension Management sports chassis (10mm lower), sports exhaust system with adjustable flaps and rectangular tailpipes in high-gloss black, as well as LED matrix headlights with dark inserts.
