Isuzu D-Max Auto Plus 4×2 Now In Malaysia
Isuzu D-Max Auto Plus 4×2 presents an affordable alternative to Malaysians who love the new D-Max.
The all-new Isuzu D-Max is a very impressive truck and represents a quantum leap in refinement, equipment and style over the last generation model. Even those who don’t use trucks for rough, off-road activities are finding it an appealing proposition. This has prompted Isuzu Malaysia to offer a new variant called the Isuzu D-Max Auto Plus 4×2 1.9L.
This variant specifically addresses the growing demographic of truck buyers that use their vehicles on tarmac roads most of the time, such as urban-based traders and high-mileage drivers. The less complex drivetrain offers lower rolling resistance and requires less maintenance. What’s more, the removal of the 4×4 system shaves 85kg off the vehicle’s weight.
The Isuzu D-Max Auto Plus 4×2 is based on the Isuzu D-Max 4×4 1.9 and carries the same engine and similar equipment levels. The 1.9L 4-cylinder turbo diesel puts out 150PS and 350Nm of torque for optimum power and fuel efficiency. Despite the lack of the 4×4 system, the 6-speed automatic still features the same gear ratios for engine optimum performance.
