Casio Launch 2nd Harimau Malaya-Themed G-Shock Watch For RM699
G-Shock Limited Edition From Casio Malaysia and the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
Continuing the spirit of honouring Football Association of Malaysia (FAM)’s athletes and fans, Casio Malaysia and Marco Corporation have announced their much-awaited 2nd collaboration – a limited edition G-SHOCK watch for Malaysia.
The first collaboration between G-SHOCK and FAM, the GA-2000FAM-1A9 was launched in May 2021 and was sold out within hours! The new limited-edition G-SHOCK x FAM watch launched on the 10th of November 2021 is the GA-900FAM-1A9.
The GA-900FAM-1A9 combines G-SHOCK’s signature heavy-duty look and the iconic tiger stripes of Harimau Malaya. The cleverly designed Harimau Malaya icon on the bottom strap gives it a one-of-a-kind look, making it a statement piece for not just football fans but also watch aficionados.
The claws at the top strap symbolize courage and the fiery spirit among our Harimau Malaya players and fans.
The industrial design motif is created by a 10-sided bezel that resembles the shape of a nut which is then secured by four screws for a final tough and rugged look with a battery lifespan that can last up to 7 years. The GA-900FAM-1A9 features analog hands along with a digital display.
The design of the hands and the graphic figures that appear in the digital readouts create an easily readable face. The band connection and all buttons have checkered surfaces that prevent slipping and contribute to operational efficiency.
The GA-900FAM-1A9 is exclusively available in Malaysia. Priced at RM699, it comes in a special Harimau Malaya packaging containing a commemorative coin, a fabric face mask, a vinyl sticker, an embroidery cloth patch and an enamel pin.
