Art Of Speed Returns To MAEPS, Serdang On 2 & 3 July

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Art of Speed is making a comeback for the year 2022. Malaysia’s premier Kustom & Counter Culture event, which is now in its 10th edition, is set to be held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS) on 2 and 3 July 2022, between 10.30 am and 8 pm.

Art of Speed Malaysia (AOSM) is supported by Tourism Malaysia under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) through the recently-launched Tourism Recovery Plan 2022.

This year’s event will see the return of foreign guests from the international custom community and media, which include:

  1. Emi Suganuma, ‘Sunny’ Yano & Michi ‘NATQQ’ from MOONEYES; Japan
  2. Scott Johnson from Mama Tried Motorcycle Show; USA
  3. Warren Heir Jr. from Flat Out Friday; USA
  4. Yaniv Evans from Powerplant Motorcycles; USA
  5. Chopper and Kustom artist, Russell Murchie ‘MOW’ from Australia
  6. Dino Dalle Carbonare from Speedhunters.com; Japan
  7. Yasuo Sekijima and Satoru Ise from Vibes Magazine; Japan
  8. Pinstripe artists Mil of Millart, Irvine Jasta and Fahmi Freeflow; Indonesia
  9. Aekalak Kitdusitpong, diecast modeler from AKARA; Thailand

In addition, Art of Speed 2022 (AOS 2022) will also feature other activities and events such as Art of Speed Invitational Bike Build Off 2022, Hot Wheels Legends Tour, NEAT Fest by NoEqual.co, Hail Vintage vintage workwear exhibition, Off The Grid outdoor camping and lifestyle, Kustom & Koffee Talk and many more.

Also making its return for AOS 2022 is the highly popular Sound Circus Festival. This year’s line-up will feature local acts with Hujan as the main headline, along with bands such as Sekumpulan Orang Gila, SweetAss, Iqbal M., and Balok People, to name a few.

To conclude the show, there will be a lucky draw on Sunday with two lucky winners. One will go home with an EV Classic Vespa (fully restored by Kluk Klek Soul and converted by Elders Elettrico), and another lucky Hausboom consumer will win another Hausboom customised EV Classic Vespa.

AOS 2022 will reintroduce the Speed Lane ticket, which is priced at RM55 and valid for both days. Speed Lane ticket holders will be able to enter Hall C and D one hour before the door opens. The weekend pass is available at the door and online for RM35, with children below 12 years old entering for FREE. OKU (disabled) Pass Holders will also enjoy free entry.

Sound Circus Festival outdoor only tickets have already been sold out sold out, but Sound Circus Festival + Weekend Pass combo is still available online at aos2022.qtic.my.
