Jaguar F-PACE SVR Edition 1988 Brings Race Nostalgia To An SUV

The Jaguar F-Pace SVR Edition 1988 pays homage to an old Le Mans win.

Jaguar are tapping into their racing heritage with the new limited edition F-Pace SVR Edition 1988. This is the first limited edition F-Pace SVR to be put on sale and it pays tribute to the 1988 Le Mans winning XJR-9 LM. Only 394 of these vehicles will be made because that’s how many laps it took for Jaguar to win that race!

What’s special about this Jaguar F-Pace SVR Edition 1988? Well, the paintwork and wheels for sure. The exterior body paint is something called Midnight Amethyst Gloss. The 22″ forged alloy wheels are coated in Champagne Gold Satin. Sunset Gold Satin is used on the detailing inside and out. There’s also a “One of 394” graphic to remind buyers of the vehicle’s exclusivity.

Besides that, the vehicle comes with the Black Pack fitted and Jaguar have gone the extra mile to extend the gloss black finishes to the door mirror caps, brake calipers, wheel centre caps and the letter R on the SVR badging. The black treatment continues in the cabin with the Jaguar leaper and horn ring on the steering finished in Satin Black. Edition 1988 branding is found on the treadplates and dashboard.
