Xiaomi EV has officially debuted its all-new Xiaomi SkyNomad Series, marking the first vehicle lineup built on the brand’s proprietary Xiaomi Kunlun Technical Architecture.
The Xiaomi SkyNomad has been fully revealed and here’s what you need to know. It’s positioned as an intelligent, large-space family SUV lineup, the SkyNomad series debuts with two extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) configurations: the Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 Max (7-seater flagship SUV) and the Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 Max (5-seater AWD SUV).

Pre-sale pricing opens at RMB 259,900 (~RM160,000) for the N70 Max and RMB 299,900 (~RM185,000) for the N90 Max.

Dimensions and Function-First Exterior Design
The design philosophy follows a “function leads space” approach, utilizing squared-off proportions to maximize MPV-level interior volume within an SUV body structure:
- Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 Max (Full-Size 7-Seater): Measures 5,285 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,825 mm in height with a 3,080 mm wheelbase.
- Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 Max (Mid-to-Large 5-Seater): Measures 4,960 mm × 1,998 mm × 1,765 mm with a 2,950 mm wheelbase.
- Aerodynamics: Incorporates over 140 aerodynamic optimizations—including active front grille shutters—achieving an overall drag coefficient Cd of 0.255 on the N90 Max.
- Key Exterior Features: Smart electric doors opening up to 90 degrees with 360° AI anti-collision sensors, an evolved “dragonfly” front headlight signature, and an inverted U-shaped rear halo light strip.

Reconfigurable Flat-Floor Interior Architecture
By utilizing the Kunlun Platform’s integrated rear coaxial electric drive unit and relocated battery control modules, Xiaomi engineers reduced floor thickness by 180 mm and eliminated interior floor steps. This creates a completely flat cabin floor extending across the second and third rows.

- Cabin Practicality: Includes 34 internal storage compartments, an 18.4-liter glovebox, up to 12 accessory expansion ports, and maximum rear cargo volume expanding up to 1,831 liters.
- Sliding Center Console: Features a deployable cabinet-style console housing a 9-liter compressor refrigerator (-6C to 50C operation), dual 50W wireless phone charging pads, and USB-C power outlets.
- In-Car Living Amenities: Includes standard power-operated second- and third-row privacy curtains, hidden mechanical air vents, and threaded 27W accessory ports across the dashboard.

Platform Powertrain and Safety Foundations
The SkyNomad series relies on Xiaomi Kunlun HyperRange EREV powertrains, paired with the Xiaomi Armor Scale Battery system and the Kunlun Total Safety structural framework.

The architecture is engineered to support ultra-long combined driving ranges, active AI-assisted chassis control, and high-rigidity passenger cell protection across family driving scenarios.
