Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has today unveiled the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, the most powerful production vehicle Mercedes-AMG, the Mercedes-Benz sport division, has ever made and it was put on display for all to behold its glory at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023, and glorious, this car is indeed.

Moreover, Mercedes-AMG is incorporates its hallmark brand DNA into an electrified future with the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance. One example of this is the use of technologies from Formula 1 in its E PERFORMANCE Hybrid strategy as well as an independent drive layout with an electric motor and battery on the rear axle.

Powering the stunning Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is a 4.0 litre bi-turbo V8 with a permanently excited synchronous electric motor making 843 hp and more than 1,400Nm of torque. This is enhanced by a high-performance battery developed by AMG and the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system.

On top of that, despite being one of the more comfortable sports coupes out there, the beastly engine in the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance allows for it to accelerate to 100km/h from a standstill in just 2.9 seconds, and from 0 to 200km/h in under 10 seconds before topping out at a blazing 316km/h.

So how much lighter would one’s wallet be to own the most powerful milestone four-door coupe from Mercedes-AMG? Well your wallet will be about RM2,088,888.00 lighter, and that’s before you even consider adding insurance, road tax and optional add-ons to the mix but for what you get, I reckon this is a fair price.

To sweeten the deal, the top spec Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance model includes continuously adjustable pressure relief valves, the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension, a ceramic high-performance compound brake system and integrated AMG DYNAMICS driving dynamics control system among other features.
