Honda WR-V Now Open For Booking In Malaysia

The Honda WR-V is now available to view and open for booking in Malaysia.

The compact crossover market is growing annually and with this growth comes new models to fill new niches. Honda Malaysia have decided to place the WR-V (Winsome Runabout Vehicle) one tier below the HR-V and it’s now available for booking nationwide.

The Honda WR-V measures 4,060mm in length, 1,780mm in width and 1,608mm in height with a ground clearance of 207mm. This puts it squarely up against the Perodua Ativa. Unlike the Ativa, the WR-V will come with a naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine.

This 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC is the same familiar unit found in the current City petrol models. It produces 121PS and 145Nm of torque and is mated to a CVT with G-design shift technology too.

Honda Malaysia aren’t holding back on equipment with the WR-V. Despite its compact size, it will be available with an RS grade, which will bring a unique front grille, 17″ dual-tone alloy wheels and unique RS emblems. All Honda WR-V models come with coupé-style rear door handles like the HR-V. Other equipment pieces include powered retractable door mirrors, auto LED headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights, LED front fog lights and LED sequential turn signals.

The unique Honda LaneWatch and Honda Connect features are both available on the Honda WR-V as well. Honda Sensing will also be coming to the WR-V with the following feature list:
