Nissan Serena J IMPUL Now In Malaysia For RM169,888

The Nissan Serena J IMPUL takes the Premium Highway Star model launched last year and adds IMPUL goodies.

The Nissan Serena has long stood as the best MPV to buy in the Malaysian market in its price segment. It’s a true people carrier with powered sliding doors, proper seating for 7 and a tall roof, plus a hybrid motor to keep fuel efficiency high. Now as the Toyota Innova Zenix and Proton X90 enter the market, Edaran Tan Chong Motor has struck back with an enhanced version of their MPV – the Serena J IMPUL.

The Nissan Serena J IMPUL builds on the equipment list of the Premium Highway Star grade and adds on a bunch of sportier touches, including a host of Japanese-made parts from IMPUL Japan.

Nissan Serena J IMPUL Adds-Ons

At the front, this MPV comes with a chrome garnish that accentuates the front bumper and V-Motion front grille. Around back, chrome trim is applied to the lower edge of the bumper and tailgate. There’s also a chrome IMPUL emblem here.

There’s also a set of 18″ IMPUL Millennium Y-spoke lightweight alloy wheels in black and polished finish. These new rims are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Sport tyres with an Eagle Claw tread design, ActiveControl & DynamicBraking Technologies. That rounds off the changes to the exterior of the Nissan Serena J Impul.

Inside, there’s a mix of Nappa leather and combination leather upholstery in burgundy and black. A Japanese rock garden-inspired seat pattern with an IMPUL logo embroidered.

All IMPUL accessories come fitted from the factory with a 3-year/100,000km warranty. The Nissan Serena J IMPUL is available for RM169,888, which is just a small price bump over the Premium Highway Star variant at RM162,888.
