BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport Introduced In Malaysia
A new locally-assembled variant of the BMW X7 arrives in Malaysia.
BMW Malaysia are expanding their range of locally-assembled offerings at the top end of the SUV market with a new variant of the BMW X7. The new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport will now be available for sale in Malaysia. Some may remember this variant being available before, but it was taken off the menu temporarily when the facelift arrived in March of this year in the Pure Excellence trim. All locally-assembled BMWs are made in Kulim.
The New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport comes equipped with a range of sports-oriented features that are sure to delight automotive enthusiasts. The vehicle boasts a new M Specific front and rear design thanks to the M Aerodynamics Package. What’s more, the iconic M inscription graces the door entry sills, adding a touch of elegance to its appearance.
One of the visual highlights of this new addition is the BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille, beautifully illuminated by LED fiber optics. The grille exudes a strong visual aura, setting the tone for a vehicle that demands attention. Additionally, the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport sports new 22-inch M Sport light alloy wheels in a double-spoke 913 M bicolour design, fitted with mixed tires for optimal performance.
Step inside the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport, and you’ll be greeted by a lavish interior. It features ‘Fineline Black’ fine wood trim with a high-gloss metal effect, setting a sophisticated tone. The M leather steering wheel provides a sporty touch, while the BMW Individual extended Merino leather upholstery is available in Black or Tartufo, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious driving experience.
When it comes to driving assistance, the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport doesn’t disappoint. It comes equipped with the Driving Assistant Professional, including Distance Control with Stop & Go function, as well as the Steering and Lane Control Assistants. This enables Level 2 Autonomous Driving capabilities, ensuring an enhanced level of comfort and safety, making for a relaxed driving experience.
Under the hood, the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport is driven by a potent power in-line six mild hybrid engine, capable of achieving a top speed of 250 km/h. With 380hp and 540 Nm of torque, this SAV can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. Paired with the BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system and an 8-Speed Steptronic Sport transmission, it also boasts mild-hybrid technology with a 48-Volt starter generator, ensuring efficiency and dynamic performance.

In addition to the existing Mineral White Metallic and Black Sapphire Metallic color options for the BMW X7, the variant-exclusive M Brooklyn Grey Metallic will also be available for the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport.
