This engine design combines an Integrated Starter Generator along with new turbocharger and can even rely on an additional electric compressor to quickly build boost pressure at low revs.
Working with the latest 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, this powertrain gives you exactly what you want in a modern luxury SUV – quick response, high power, low fuel consumption and quiet operation. Plus, with the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, the powertrain’s 258hp and 400Nm of torque gets exactly where it’s needed most whether you’re carving corners or driving during a rainstorm.

Without a doubt, Mercedes-Benz interior design has been a strong point when the GLC first entered the market and this has only been improved on in the new generation model. The brand has created a distinct look that is tech-forward while still featuring subtle luxurious design elements.
It’s a comfortable place to be in and the Burmester 3D surround sound system delivers acoustic pleasure from hard rock music to soulful voices.
The ARTICO man-made leather upholstery is almost indistinguishable from genuine leather in terms of feel while being robust and better for the environment overall. The cabin experience is completed with MBUX on the 11.9-inch touch-controlled infotainment and 12.3-inch driver instrument cluster.
We see a generational leap not just in the car’s design and performance, but in this digital interface with improvements to voice commands and some neat features such as the automatic Traffic Light View camera feed, MBUX Augmented Reality and “transparent bonnet” feature.
This SUV comes with the illuminated door sills with the “Mercedes-Benz branding illuminated in brilliant white, set in an elegantly machined stainless steel panel on the door sill.
