After a long wait, the price of the new BMW X5 xDrive50e has been announced
BMW Malaysia teased the new locally-assembled BMW X5 xDrive50e not too long ago and today announces the official pricing of the New BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport, the latest PHEV variant of the highly successful Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), known as The Boss.
Arriving in the M Sport variant, the New BMW X5 xDrive50e comes as a welcome addition to the BMW Group’s premium line-up of locally assembled vehicles for the Malaysian market and now it is finally here and with the very attractive price tag of RM486,800, lower than the estimated RM530,00.
Moreover, first previewed by the premium automaker earlier this month, the New BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport sees substantial enhancements in terms of performance and efficiency, with increased power and a superior electric range, showcasing a blend of contemporary athleticism and elegance to stand out on Malaysian roads.
The New BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport features an enhanced PHEV powertrain delivering a combined output of 489hp, as well as an upgraded 700Nm of torque. The amalgamated power from the 3.0-liter straight-six petrol engine and the potent electric motor enables the New SUV to achieve a 4.8-second century sprint.
Additionally, the PHEV’s electric capabilities receive a significant boost, providing an electric range of up to 110km (WLTP) and an improved 7.4 kW charging capacity, allowing it to reach a full charge from 0-100 percent in just 4.5 hours. The added benefit of the petrol engine also gives more peace of mind.
On top of that, with the Easy Drive Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the New BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM6,014.00 (based on estimates of an 80 percent loan on a five-year tenure) after RM10,000 Easy Drive Cash Rebate until 31 March 2024, terms and conditions apply.

The retail pricing of the New BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport including Sales and Service Tax (on the road, without insurance) is: RM 486,800.00 while the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive which consists of 5-Year Extended Warranty and Service Package is RM 41,300.00.
