Lexus has a bunch of new SUVs on the horizon that lean toward the rugged side of things and one of them is the new GX. At the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024, JAOS Corporation took this new SUV to its off-roading extreme with the Lexus GX 550 Overtrail Edition, a follow up to 2022’s LX Offroad.

The collaboration between LEXUS and JAOS has resulted in a vehicle that combines the base model’s rugged exterior with exceptional off-road performance and unique customizations by a renowned 4WD & SUV aftermarket parts manufacturer.
The vehicle’s front boasts a rugged bumper, a hallmark of heavy-duty off-road vehicles, crafted from lightweight and highly rigid ABS resin. Essential off-road components such as fender garnishes, tube-style side steps, large mudguards, and aluminum skid plates ensure optimal protection during off-road escapades.
A roof rack enhances carrying capacity, while a lift kit and lightweight 18-inch wheels elevate both appearance and dynamic performance.
