UMW Toyota Motor sold 7% more vehicles in 2023 than they did in 2022.

UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT) celebrated the conclusion of 2023 with an impressive sales performance, maintaining a positive trend throughout December. The month witnessed a significant milestone as UMWT achieved a monthly total sales of 10,402 units (Toyota + Lexus), comprising 10,079 units for Toyota and 323 units for Lexus. This robust performance contributed to a year-to-date sales figure of 108,107 units as of December 2023, marking a remarkable 7% year-on-year increase compared to the cumulative sales in 2022, which stood at 101,035 units.

He stated, “With heartfelt gratitude to all our customers for their unwavering support, this year-end, UMWT renews our commitment to ‘Move Your World.” The commitment extends beyond sales figures, emphasizing a dedication to customer satisfaction and efficiency in automotive care, as evidenced by the record of 1,342,130 returning customers for aftersales services in 2023.

December saw Toyota extending its commitment to consumers with the “Drive into the New Year with Toyota” promotion. The promotion offered customers up to a 100% loan for selected models, along with broad promotional savings.
