GAC EMZOOM And AION Y Plus Stock Arrive In Malaysia

The EMZOOM is petrol powered and the AION Y Plus is a full electric vehicle

This latest electric and also petrol powered vehicles first batch vehicles have arrived from China and its delivery to waiting customers will be very soon.

In case you didnt know this, the EMZOOM crossover (pictured above) is set to do battle primarily with Proton’s X50 Flagship priced at RM103k, Honda HR-V priced from RM114k, Chery Omoda 5 priced from RM108k and even the Mazda CX3 priced from RM131k when it eventually begins rolling off Tan Chong’s Segambut production line come the second quarter of 2024.

Meanwhile, the GAC AION Y PLUS is the first Electric Vehicle (EV) brand under WTCA and the GAC AION Y Plus, a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) SUV is expected to be launched in the first half of 2024.

This EV is powered by GAC AION’s proprietary Magazine battery, the world’s first Magazine Battery Safety Technology with no incidents of ignition or explosion, making it the safest battery technology in the world right now, setting a new standard for safety performance.

The Magazine Battery has a capacity of 63.2kWH with a maximum output of 150kW, GAC AION Y PLUS is expected to have a travel range of 490km (NEDC) or 430km (WLTP).

On top of that, the GAC AION Y PLUS features a striking design highlighted by the unique Angel’s Wing headlights with 7 horizontal light bars, creating a distinctive and elegant appearance on the road.
