Perodua senior management have whispered to the media of a new Bezza and facelift Myvi coming at the 3rd quarter of 2025
This means that Perodua is not only working on a completely new model for 2025 but will also be upgrading the current best sellers, the Bezza and Myvi.
Meanwhile, the current Perodua Bezza is priced from a sensible RM34,580 to a budget conscious RM49,980 on-the-road before insurance in Peninsular Malaysia. First launched in 2016, the popular Perodua Bezza got its first upgrade in 2020.
The perfect ride-hailing vehicles since its launch, The Perodua Bezza will probably continue to find more owners looking at using it as a business tool.
There are three versions of this 2020 Bezza on offer. The RM34,580.00 1.0L Manual Transmission G model is the starter version. Next up is the RM36,580 (solid colour) to RM43,980 (metallic colour) 1.0L Automatic Transmission X model and finally they have the 1.3L AV model with Automatic Transmission which is priced at RM49,980.
So, the Bezza comes with a 5-Star ASEAN NCAP safety rating and a 5-year warranty (or 150,000 kilometers) (whichever comes first). Perodua’s Advanced Safety Assist 2.0 (ASA 2.0) suite of driver assistance safety systems made its debut in the 2020 Bezza range on the AV variant, making it the most affordable sedan in Malaysia with such a feature at the time.
ASA 2.0 comprises Pedestrian Detection (up to 50km/h), Pre-Collision Warning (up to 100km/h), Pre-Collision Braking (up to 80km/h), Front Departure Alert and Pedal Misoperation Control, all of which work together to mitigate collisions.
Meanwhile, the X variant gained the Vehicle Stability Control and traction control.
Just in case you were wondering why it is a ride hailing favorite. The Perodua Bezza’s total maintenance cost difference at the 5-year mark is only RM44 or 1.4% and not 32% as reported previously by some social media warriors. The difference is attributed to the premium cost of 0W-20 grade for lubricant used in the Bezza instead of the 10W-30 in a rival brand.
