The Chery Fulwin A9L is slated to launch in China on 8 July 2025
The Chery Fulwin A9L PHEV sedan is set to launch on 8 July in China. Since its small order release during the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show on 23 April, it has garnered an impressive 51,971 pre-orders. On 26 June, four trim levels were officially made available for pre-sale, with prices ranging from 159,900 to 229,900 yuan (approximately USD22,300 to USD32,000).



Buyers can choose from six exterior color options, namely red, black, silver, purple, green and gray. Structurally, the Chery Fulwin A9L boasts a body composed of 88 percent high-strength steel and aluminum alloy for enhanced safety and rigidity. It measures 5,018mm in length, 1,965mm in width and 1,500 mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
Moreover, depending on the drivetrain, curb weight is 2,085 kg for FWD and 2,230 kg for AWD. It features a minimum turning radius of 5.95 meters, allowing for solid maneuverability. At the rear, the A9L features a full-width taillight design consisting of 320 individual red LEDs.

An active rear wing automatically deploys at 90km/h, generating up to 425N of downforce at 180km/h for improved high-speed stability. Under the hood, the Fulwin A9L is powered by Chery’s Kunpeng Super Performance Electric Hybrid C-DM 6.0 system, comprising a 1.5T engine delivering 154hp and 220Nm of torque, paired with a 33.67kWh battery.
On top of that, specs for the FWD Chery Fulwin A9L model include a 215hp electric motor, 260km pure electric range, 3.65 L/100 km fuel consumption, a 7.9-second century sprint time and 2,000km of combined range while the AWD model add a 261hp rear motor, 200km EV range, 4.8 L/100 km consumption, 4.9-second acceleration time and 1,600km combined range.



Fast charging from 30 to 80 percent takes just 14 and a half minutes. Inside, the cabin features leather, suede, and wood-grain accents, with Chery’s Lingxi Smart Cabin 2.0 powered by a Snapdragon 8255 chip. Tech includes a 10.25-inch instrument panel, 15.6-inch central display, AI voice assistant, Bluetooth, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, and more.
