Update on the bus accident involving kindergarten kids.
The bus driver who transported a group of kindergarten students involved in an accident at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) last Saturday was sentenced to seven days in jail and a fine of RM8,000 at the Magistrate’s Court in Petaling Jaya yesterday.
Magistrate Nur Nastasya Mohtarudin handed down the sentence to Mohamad Hamir Masruddin, 44, after the accused pleaded guilty to the charges read out against him.
