Advanced eAxle Powertrain and DC Fast Charging
At the mechanical heart of the e VITARA is Suzuki’s newly engineered eAxle electric drive system, which packages the electric motor, inverter, and reduction gear into a highly compact and efficient module.
The system utilizes a 61 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack and a single motor capable of 128 kW (252 hp) and 193 Nm of torque, giving the electric SUV a maximum certified driving range of 426 km on a full single charge. This electrical architecture supports rapid DC fast charging, enabling a 10% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC) replenishment in 45 minutes, while standard AC charging can be completed from 10% to 100% in approximately 9 hours using a 7kW home wallbox charger. To tailor power responses on the fly, drivers can choose between three selectable driving settings: ECO, NORMAL, and SPORT.
“Metal Beast” Design DNA and Digital Cabin
The exterior styling of the e VITARA adopts a striking high-tech aesthetic inspired by the concept of a “Metal Beast”. It combines a muscular SUV stance with large-diameter 18-inch wheels, heavy wheel arches, a distinct hexagonal visage, and signature three-point matrix lighting elements. Measuring 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height with a 2,700 mm wheelbase, the platform balances a spacious cabin layout with a compact footprint optimized for tight city streets.
The contemporary cabin introduces a new generation of Suzuki interior design. Key highlights include an Integrated Display System (IDS) that seamlessly houses the digital driver instrument cluster and central infotainment display into a single seamless glass pane. The premium layout also features a new two-spoke “squircle” steering wheel with multi-function controls, a floating centre console layout with shift-by-wire electronic controls, and high-end Melange jersey upholstery paired with brown synthetic leather detailing. For daily practicality, it offers a 306-litre rear cargo capacity alongside highly flexible seating configurations.
