Geely Galaxy has officially launched its high-performance C-segment electric sports sedan, the Geely Galaxy TT, in the Chinese market.

Positioned as an aerodynamic, driver-centric fastback built to challenge mainstream competitors like the Xiaomi SU7 and BYD Seal, the Galaxy TT enters the Chinese market across five distinct configurations. Limited-time promotional launch pricing spans between RMB 129,900 and RMB 185,900 (approximately RM80,000-RM112,000), introducing flagship-grade 800-volt charging and performance hardware to a mass-market price bracket.

Built on Geely’s dedicated native electric architecture, the sedan integrates CATL’s ultra-thin battery pack with Cell-to-Body (CTB) structural engineering. This configuration frees up an extra 30 mm of longitudinal legroom compared to previous-generation platforms, yielding an optimal 285 mm second-row seat cushion height and 952 mm of rear headroom.

Inside, the cabin features 100% soft-touch materials across primary touchpoints, complemented by a 7.1.4 immersive Flyme Sound system with 23 speakers, more than 200 acoustic damping treatments, and a specialized Low-e panoramic glass roof that filters out 99.99% of UV rays and 93% of infrared heat.

Thunder 16-in-1 Drive, 6C Fast Charging, and 3.8-Second Sprint

Every Galaxy TT model comes equipped as standard with a full-domain 800-volt electrical platform, Geely’s proprietary Thunder 16-in-1 intelligent electric drive system achieving 93.8% combined efficiency, and CATL’s customized Shenxing TT battery:

  • Single-Motor RWD Variants: Produce 245 kW (329 hp) and 320 Nm of torque, delivering CLTC driving ranges of either 640 km or 725 km, with 0 to 100 km/h acceleration times of 7.2 seconds and 6.5 seconds, respectively.
  • Dual-Motor Ultra AWD: Adds a 180 kW front induction motor to the 245 kW rear permanent-magnet motor, generating a total system output of 425 kW (570 hp). Paired with a 75.2 kWh LFP battery, it completes the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 3.8 seconds with a CLTC range of 650 km.
  • 6C Ultra-Fast Charging: High-power replenishment capability can add nearly 500 km of CLTC range in just 11 minutes at compatible ultra-fast DC charging terminals.

Chassis Dynamics, Active CCD Damping, and Guinness World Record

Engineered with a native rear-wheel-drive bias, the chassis features an all-aluminum front double-wishbone suspension, a rear five-link setup, and hydraulic bushings, improving roll resistance by 8% and enabling lateral cornering loads up to 1g.

Ride quality is managed by an AI-predictive Magic Carpet system that continuously adjusts Continuous Damping Control (CCD) shock absorbers based on incoming terrain scans.

During its launch demonstration, the vehicle established a new Guinness World Record for the longest continuous tandem drift on a wet surface, sustaining a slide over 46 kilometers to surpass Porsche’s previous benchmark of 42 kilometers.

AI-Powered Qianli Haohan ADAS and High-Speed Blowout Safety

The sedan runs on the Super Eva interactive system, powered by a World Action Model (WAM) architecture and an array of digital screens.

Active safety and autonomy are managed by the Qianli Haohan G-ASD intelligent driving suite, which incorporates roof-mounted LiDAR hardware as standard across all variants. The system delivers end-to-end Door-to-Door (D2D) assistance, encompassing high-speed highway Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) and urban City NOA (CNOA). Its front optical arrays identify road obstacles up to 200 meters ahead in low-light and high-contrast settings, while the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) operates at speeds up to 130 km/h.

For catastrophic tire failures, an integrated AI stability controller detects loss of pressure within 0.175 seconds and initiates dynamic torque counter-steering within 0.3 seconds. The system has demonstrated full directional stability during simulated blowouts at 180 km/h on straightaways, at 130 km/h on high-curvature bends, and across split-friction surfaces.
