GWM Malaysia has introduced a minor update to its best-selling hybrid SUV, the Haval H6 HEV, now featuring a Phantom Black interior. This new option brings a sophisticated and modern look, enhancing the SUV’s appeal. Many Malaysian SUV buyers are quite open to buying Chinese vehicles nowadays, and hybrids are increasingly accepted in the market. However, there are many who absolutely don’t like white interior options as they are much more difficult to maintain and clean. This new interior option, though more conservative, may increase the appeal of the H6 HEV in Malaysia which was launched with a white and black leather interior with rose gold trim pieces.
The refreshed interior joins the existing color palette, giving customers greater freedom to personalize their H6 HEV experience. “Our customers want interiors that feel refined and premium, and we are proud to deliver that without compromising on performance or value,” said Roslan Abdullah, COO of GWM Malaysia.
The Haval H6 HEV retains its proven formula of advanced hybrid technology, bold design, and exceptional fuel efficiency. Under the hood, it has the same 1.5L turbocharged engine with electric power, producing 243 PS and 530 Nm of torque. Drivers can expect fuel consumption as low as 5.8L/100 km and a remarkable driving range of up to 1,000 km on a full tank—making it one of the most practical hybrid SUVs on the market.
In conjunction with this update, GWM is offering RM6,600 worth of savings and an upgraded 10-Year HEV Battery Warranty for a limited time. This new battery warranty policy can be transferred to the next owner, however the engine warranty has now been shortened to 7 years or 200,000km, whichever comes first. Customers are encouraged to visit GWM dealerships nationwide to experience the refreshed Haval H6 HEV firsthand. The original white and black upholstery with rose gold trim is still available as an option.
